Job Summary
We seek a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in a personal care home environment. The ideal candidate will assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting their independence and dignity. This role requires a strong understanding of resident rights and the ability to manage various caregiving tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and document vital signs as needed, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide support in behavior management techniques to ensure a safe and positive living environment.
- Uphold resident rights by treating all individuals with respect and dignity.
- Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the resident's living space.
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies, utilizing first aid knowledge when necessary.
