What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Processor position at M&D?
Description
- Pulling merchandise to fill orders per pick ticket
- Ensures that orders are accurate
- Select packaging and package order for delivery to customer
- Verify and correct any inventory discrepancies
- Stages items correctly for delivery
- Putting inventory merchandise on shelves
- Maintain clean work area
- Inventory control including:
- Inspecting order accuracy before accepting vendor deliveries
- Perform quality checks on inventory
- Conduct cycle counts
- Report discrepancies to leadership
- Follow all company policies as it relates to Loss Prevention
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent desired
- 1 year of experience picking and processing orders
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to stand and walk during shift
- Ability to exercise judgement and to work independently
- Must demonstrate consistency, accuracy, and follow-through
- Knowledge diesel engine parts preferred
- Computer literacy with the ability to learn new software programs
- Ability to move, lift, and carry objects up to 50lbs
- Ability to continuously repeat motions
