- Oversee daily operations of the body shop, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality repairs.
- Manage and mentor a team of technicians and administrative staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize productivity and profitability.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, striving for exceptional customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements, implementing new techniques and technologies where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Needs experience in Estimating Software.
- Needs knowledge of auto insurance and insurance claims process.
- Proven experience in automotive repair, with a focus on body work.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software related to automotive repair.
- Certification in automotive repair or related field preferred.
- I-CAR certified preferred.
