Role Overview

As a Preconstruction Manager, you will lead budgeting and estimating efforts, collaborate with design partners and internal teams, and manage the bidding process to ensure every project starts strong.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual budgeting, estimating, and subcontractor bid efforts
• Analyze drawings and specifications to develop accurate cost models
• Collaborate with owners, developers, and general contractors during pre-bid phases
• Review and negotiate subcontractor quotes, value engineering options, and proposals
• Transition awarded projects seamlessly to project management teams
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of estimating or preconstruction experience (steel or commercial projects preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction systems, drawings, and cost structures
• Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, Procore (Tekla EPM a plus)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
