Job Description: Quality Analyst
M&S Machining is seeking candidates with quality and data analysis experience. This position requires a well-organized individual with a keen attention to detail.
Job Duties:
- Handling conflicting/changing priorities to avoid shipping delays.
- Completing first article and source inspection documentation.
- Managing traceability documentation for materials, outside services, and hardware.
- Reviewing in-process inspection data for completeness and conformity to blueprint and customer requirements.
- Special projects as needed.
Required Skills:
- Strong communications skills.
- Understanding of GD&T .
- Possess a strong ability to accurately read and interpret simple and complex engineering blueprints.
- Strong understanding of basic arithmetic and trigonometry.
- High level of organization and discipline.
- Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data efficiently.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft word and excel.
- Desire to continually learn and develop technical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient in using various pieces of measuring equipment, including but not limited to, CMM, optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, surface profilometer, gage blocks, gage pins, height stand, etc.
- Experience reviewing inspection data to include CMM reports and hard gage measurements.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
