Join our dynamic team at M1 Concourse, where motorsports excitement meets unparalleled family entertainment! We are currently seeking a part-time / seasonal merchandise coordinator to assist in managing our merchandise operations during our busy event season (April October).
The ideal candidate will be creative and have a passion for automobiles, and motorsports, exceptional organizational skills, and a knack for providing top-notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute merchandise strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and target market.
- Source, evaluate, and select products or collections for the retail store or e-commerce platform.
- Establish relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and maintain vendor agreements.
- Set up and maintain merchandise displays in designated areas across the complex.
- Maintain optimal inventory turnover, track product demand, and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging products.
- Ensure merchandise is organized, labeled, and priced accurately.
- Assist customers in finding merchandise and provide product information.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional service to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional events and sales initiatives.
- Assist in implementing marketing strategies to drive merchandise sales and increase brand awareness.
- Work closely with other departments, such as event operations and client services, to ensure seamless coordination of merchandise activities.
- Provide support to colleagues during peak times or special events as needed.
- Foster a positive team environment and contribute to a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Working Conditions :
May be required to work occasional evenings, weekends, and early mornings depending on the M1 event schedule. The work environment is generally comfortable and most work is indoors although the position may require work outdoors to sell merchandise during events.
Physical Requirements :
This position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods, the ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds, and the use of standard office equipment and the computer.
