Summary
The Machine Assembler/Special Automated Machine Builder reports to a supervisor and is responsible for assembling machines for industrial applications according to product specifications.
Salary Grade
Hourly
Essential Functions and Qualifications
· Ability to use hand tools as well as hand operated power tools.
· Mechanical, electrical, plumbing (air and water), and welding skills preferred.
· Reading and interpreting engineering drawings as well as electrical and pneumatic schematics preferred.
· Willing and available to work overtime to reach goals
· Will train if the right candidate applies.
Working Conditions
· Shop is Air Conditioned
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; some Saturday work is also necessary.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position although field service opportunities could be available in the future.
