MacDougall Pierce is currently looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent. The primary responsibilities would include:
- Coordinating construction work according to priorities and plans
- Producing schedules and monitor attendance of crew
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
- Resolve problems when they arise in a professional manner
- Report progress to Project Manager, Architects, Owners, and others
- Maintain customer contact
- Create and maintain all appropriate reports for Project Manager
- Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and project budgeting, and various reports
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Must have minimum of 5 years of verifiable commercial construction superintendent experience
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with individuals and groups
- In-depth knowledge of commercial construction procedures
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply blueprints, project manuals, contracts, pictures and any other pertinent information
- Exceptional leadership skills, including ability to mediate in high stress, time sensitive conditions
- Proficient with MS Office/Procore/Bluebeam and various construction software
- Ability to think creatively, quickly and thoroughly while problem solving
- Excellent time management skills and ability to motivate crews for maximum performance with exceptions quality work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
