Motor Winder

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Motor Winder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in vehicle maintenance and equipment repair. As a Motor Winder, you will be responsible for winding electric motors, ensuring they meet quality standards, and providing excellent service to our clients. This role requires a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Wind electric motors according to specifications and quality standards.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment, including generators.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for winding and repair tasks.
• Conduct thorough inspections of motors to identify any issues or necessary repairs.
• Assist in heavy lifting and moving of equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide support in sales activities related to motor winding services when required.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance or dealership environments.
• Familiarity with generator repair and other equipment repair techniques.
• Proficient in using hand tools relevant to motor winding tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience as a mechanic or in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar products is a plus but not essential.
