Schedule/Availability:
Fridays from 11:30 AM -2:30 PM
Every other weekend, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 AM-2:30 PM
Special Event Days as needed
Times include set-up and breakdown of stations
Summary
Mackenthun's Demonstrators play a crucial role in promoting the exceptional experience provided by Mackenthun's. Their main responsibility is to educate customers about the wide range of products and services available at the store.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Cheerfully greet each customer.
Promote products through samples and customer education.
Answer customer questions as needed.
Maintain sanitary and safe display, sampling, and clean-up process.
Maintain the freshness and quality of the sampled product.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must express a positive, friendly attitude, focus on customer needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Must be able to work independently, have solid problem-solving skills and excellent decision making capabilities.
- Must have an interest in selling food and promoting Mackenthun's Exceptional Experience with a desire to learn the characteristics and qualities of the products and services that Mackenthun's offers, in particular Mackenthun's Signature products.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Physical Demands
Frequent standing for long periods of time. Occasional sitting if needed. Occasional bending at the waist, reaching, crouching, and possibly climbing stairs if needed. Must be able to define colors and read at a close and distant range. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
