As they continue to scale, we are looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of FP&A to lead financial planning efforts and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Position Summary:
The Director of FP&A will be a key member of the finance leadership team, reporting to the Sr. Director of FP&A. This individual will lead the budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial analysis functions, providing critical insights that support the company’s operational and strategic goals. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and deeply experienced in FP&A within the food manufacturing or CPG space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the FP&A function, including the development of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
- Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and R&D to track and optimize performance metrics, product profitability, and cost management.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Drive scenario modeling, capital investment analyses, and ROI evaluations.
- Implement and improve financial planning systems, dashboards, and tools.
- Mentor and lead a growing team of analysts and managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Industry experience in food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or related sectors required.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, manufacturing operations, and supply chain finance.
- Expert-level proficiency with Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP and planning tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
