What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Specialist position at MacQueen Equipment LLC?
Job Summary: Responsible for handling parts and inventory responsibilities while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties:
- Helps coordinate Parts orders to end-users and the Service department daily to meet department goals through prioritization of work and appropriate placement of orders.
- Assists with the completion of Branch level Inventory tasks including but not limited to: Shipping/Receiving, inventory stocking, cycle counting.
- Sources parts needed for repairs and orders including for service, stock and customer direct.
- Supports Parts responsibilities – inventory control, parts training, pricing acumen, purchasing, supply chain understanding, customer experience, etc.
- Assists with receiving PS&R inventory into CDK and approve invoices in Filebound.
- Processes PS&R division drop ship invoices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year direct industry experience or 3 years industry experience in a related industry
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Internal applicants: Acceptable level of safety, rework, and productivity in prior roles
- This role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement.
ADA Requirements:
Stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, twist, reach or otherwise move frequently.
Occasional repetitive motion and grasping
Occasional climbing to reach areas on equipment or racks.
Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequently.
Typically sits, grasp items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may include moving mechanical parts
