Our food runners play a vital role in delivering food promptly to guests while assisting the kitchen staff and servers with communication.
- Food Runners deliver food from the kitchen to the guests in a timely manner.
- Food Runners assist servers, bartenders, and hosts as needed and help bussers clear tables.
- Food Runners answer guest questions, pack and ensure takeout orders are correct, and communicate with both the kitchen staff and serving staff to ensure a smooth shift.
Required skills and qualifications to be a Food Runner with Mad Mex Scott Township :
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with others
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Restaurant experience not required
Physical requirements for Food Runner with Mad Mex Scott Township :
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds
While specific scheduling needs may vary, in general applicants are expected to have availability to work a mix of booth weekdays and weekends as well as a mix of daytime and closing (night) shift availability.
