What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Graphic Designer position at Made Good?
The Senior Graphic Designer will work remotely with a team including Creative Directors, Art Directors, Project Managers and Animator/Editors to achieve project goals and deliver assets to the client’s specifications. They will work closely with the Design Art Director and provide support in whatever role necessary to our external team of creators from project to project. It is expected that they will be able to take feedback professionally, and complete edits to achieve the desired end product on time.
We create a range of designs mainly for digital and social channels. Most projects are “quick-turn” with tight deadlines for revisions on feedback and completion. Many projects will have multiple outputs of different sizes and lengths specific to the platform they’re being posted to. The typical project cycle is 10 days, but often shorter.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of the successful completion of similar projects. We’re looking for someone that has hands-on experience and current skills with the Adobe creative suite, and has the ability to work remotely, independently, and with limited direction at times.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a professional level of communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Study design briefs and determine requirements.
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements primarily for social platforms and broadcast media.
- Work in coordination with the creative and marketing departments to ensure projects are completed promptly, assisting in managing creative department workflow as needed.
- Concept, design, and produce traditional, digital, UI/UX, landing page/front end web dev, animated, and video graphic materials.
- Mentor Graphic Designers and design interns in best practices and brand standards, delivering constructive feedback when called upon.
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
- Execute high-level design concepts
- Experience and understanding of current design trends
- Prepare PSDs for animation
- Work with copywriters and our creative director/art director to produce the final design
- Test graphics across various media, and amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand, conforming to design fundamentals
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Relentless attention to detail
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet assigned deadlines
- Proficient in the creation of both online and print design
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects
- Sufficient in Google Slides
- Working knowledge of Figma & 3D software is a plus
- Agency Experience is a plus
