PRISM III Home School Connection Book Organization Team
Description: The PRISM III Home School Connection Book Organization Team will organize and sort the books in the Madeline English Library by grade level. These books will then be used to support the home school connection and students will be able to select books to read at home. Team members will report to Paolo Lambresa, Principal of the Madeline English School, regarding this offering.
Working Time/Modality: Up to 15 Hours over 3 days (days to be determined with the Madeline English Administration team).
Qualifications:
- Current teacher at the Madeline English School.
- Available to provide dedicated time during the summer before school starts to complete the project.
- Knowledge of reading levels and interests of students.
Essential Duties:
- Arrange time to review texts at the English School to create lending school to home libraries that will support implementation of CKLA.
- Review books and determine the best grade level for students to read at home.
- Organize books on carts to support distribution by staff for students to use at home.
- Complete other tasks as assigned to support implementation of the lending libraries by grade level as assigned by the school leadership.
Compensation: up to 15 hours or a total of $600 per person (based on the number of teachers participating). Stipend paid as one sum after all books are sorted. All work must be completed by August 25, 2025.
