MADI Offers:
- $46.00 Hourly rate
- $45.00 Daily Per Diem
- Paid Lodging
- Guarantee of 50 hours each week
- Time and one half after 40 hrs. worked in a seven-day work period
- Weekly pay
- .70¢ per mile travel reimbursement or a paid flight to the location
Requirements:
- Requires education generally equivalent to a High School diploma.
- Journeyman Millwright certification, Associates in Electromechanical field, or equivalent years of experience preferred.
- Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and to make metric system conversions.
- Must have previous mechanical assembly experience.
- Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints and other manufacturing instructions.
- Ability to navigate CAD documents required.
- Familiarity with ERP systems required.
- Must have the knowledge and ability to use hand tools and machine tools such as drill press, band saw, cut-off saw and grinder.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees.
- Must be able to collaborate with others (including in-person) to proactively develop solutions.
- Knowledge of Machine building, carpentry and pneumatics is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Reads and follows blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions in order to build and assemble parts and equipment in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Operates material handling equipment.
- Sets up and runs assemblies per specifications.
- Measures parts accurately using scales, micrometers, and calipers.
- Utilize overhead crane and rigging procedures.
- Fabricates sheet metal.
- Perform and manage line audits.
- Performs department clean up and improvement projects.
- Manages material inventory.
- Leads teams within the department.
- Manages and completes dispatch report.
