We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, venipuncture, and administering injections as directed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within electronic health systems.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and provide follow-up care instructions to patients.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment, including sterilization of equipment used in the operating room (OR).
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and address any questions or concerns.
Skills
- Proficiency in patient care techniques and familiarity with urgent care protocols and venipuncture.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and support.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of geriatrics and the specific needs of elderly patients is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical systems and electronic health record management.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a clinical setting.
- Fluency in Spanish or Korean would be a plus.
- Experience with making referrals is a plus
