Madison Regional Health System is seeking a part-time or full-time Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission : Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home.
Our Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse are an essential part of our Medical team and is responsible for caring for patients of various ages : infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, great telephone etiquette, computer knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in pressure / stressful situations are essential. South Dakota RN / LPN license and CPR certification is required.
The working conditions will be in a clean, well-lighted area, with sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, frequent repetitive motion of the hands / wrists involved. May be required to deal with unpleasant environmental situations resulting from patient care or patient activity. Exposure to infectious disease, body fluids, odors, and dust. Will be working with a variety of medical equipment including, but not limited to : defibrillator / cardioversion equipment, suction equipment, IV pumps, chest tubes, feeding pumps, and portable cardiac monitors.
RN and LPN positions at Madison Regional Health System are flexible! We offer 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend. As part of a team, we have a day, night, weekend, holiday, and call rotation to balance your home life. You will have a unique opportunity to build your skillset by working in various departments such as medical, surgical, and emergency room areas. Full and part-time positions are available.
Full-time positions come with Madison Regional Health System's benefits package and a competitive salary. MRHS offers retention pay to individuals who have worked at the facility for greater than one year. Madison Regional Health System employees receive a discount at the on-site cafeteria. Shift differential occurs 6pm-6am Monday-Friday, weekends, and holidays.
Registered Nurse earning potential ranges from $30-$46 with competency incentives. May be eligible for sign-on bonus or tuition assistance.
License Practical Nurse earning potential ranges from $25-$32. May be eligible for sign-on bonus or tuition assistance.
