What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Madison Wood Preservers?
Madison Wood Preservers, Inc. is looking for a mechanics/technician with experience in stationary and mobile equipment maintenance and repair. In 2017, Madison Wood built a brand new 10,000 sq ft maintenance facility equipped with four bays, recycled motor oil heating, and state of the art diagnostic technology.
We have a tight knit team in the maintenance dept so a good personality is a must have! Madison Wood is looking for someone that is organized, respectful, willing to learn, and someone ambitious to be the next great addition to our crew. It all starts with a little experience and the right attitude, from there we can teach just about anything.
Hours: Monday - Friday: 7am-3:30pm
Qualified applicants must be:
- Reliable
- Trustworthy
- Willing to learn to do new thing
- Have a positive attitude
- Able to work in Hot/Cold conditions
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Willing to be ON call in team rotation
Preferred qualifications include
- Experience with diesel engine and machine maintenance
- Truck/HD or forklift mechanical experience
- Mechanical experience preferably in industrial setting
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Personal tools are a plus (and include added pay)
