Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Shift Leader to join our team at Magnera. The
Shift Leader
has the qualifications and business acumen to effectively manage their team. As a Shift Leader you should be able to monitor day-to-day operations of the Delta Line to ensure KPIs are being met. The ideal candidate would lead by example in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
- Monitor all systems and employees during production and downtime events.
- Record downtime events accurately
- Promote safe working practice and instill mindset of a sense of urgency to all safety matters.
- Ensure all activities in your area under your responsibility have been risk assessed and appropriate control measures in place.
- Actively engage with your direct reports in safety meetings and activities.
- Actively communicate in responding with actions to questions/proposals of employees ASAP and follow up on actions agreed with your teams on a regular basis to ensure completions.
- Respond consistently with direct feedback to any at-risk behavior or conditions
- Demonstrate positive example giving behavior and send clear and consistent message on safety.
- Establish RRE for you direct reports( including appropriate leading and lagging safety goals in performance expectations and emphasize the importance of them being exemplary leadership role model
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in related field (Business Administration, Engineering, Accounting, etc.) preferred
- 3-5 years manufacturing experience
- 3-5 years leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience with GMP principles.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
