MEDICAL FRONT OFFICE RECEPTIONIST
We are looking for a full-time Front Office Receptionist to join our family at Magnolia Family Practice. Experience in a medical front office setting is highly preferred, but we will consider training a highly motivated individual with experience in other front office receptionist roles. Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR is preferred.

Job duties:
· Checking patients in, including verifying account balances, verifying insurance, and updating demographic information, all with a high degree of accuracy
· Researching bad addresses to obtain a good address for returned mail
· Accept patient payments consisting of cash, check, and credit cards and post them to the patient’s account, including collecting old balances
· Balance and reconcile all money collected daily
· Scheduling appointments
· Answering telephone calls, voice mails, and electronic patient messages, or routing them to the appropriate person
· Placing electronic faxes in the patient’s chart and forwarding to the appropriate person
· Assisting patients with questions as appropriate, or referring them to the appropriate staff member for their question
· Participating in orientation and/or training of new employees if requested
· Crosstraining to work in other areas as applicable
· Occasional lifting of supplies and equipment up to approximately 20 lbs
· Performing any other duties as assigned or as necessary to make the office run smoothly
Required qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
