Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and production of food for caterings and events of varying cuisines, sizes, and service styles (on-site or off-site)
- Assist with catering and event menu development and special requests for dietary restrictions and food allergies
- Maintain accurate food cost analysis and manage inventory
- Consistently maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen
Qualifications
- Proven experience in high-volume, quality-oriented catering, restaurant and/or banquet field
- Excellent volume cooking, portioning and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate and work with people of different skill levels and varied backgrounds
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Experience in managing kitchen staff
- Serve-Safe Certification
