TITLE: Helping Hands
REPORTS TO: Administrator
Non-Exempt
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The purpose of the Helping Hands position is to provide support and assistance to staff and our residents. This can be as simple as answering phone calls, emails, or greeting guests that come into the facility.
ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answering phone calls, directing and forwarding them as needed.
- Responding to emails and handling basic inquires.
- Up keep files including copying, filing, and scanning.
- Greeting guests into building, and directing them to faculty when requested.
- Filling in various roles as needed.
- Perform any other related functions as delegated by the Administrator.
KEY CHARACTERISTICS:
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions
- Excellent communication skills written and oral
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Previous work with the elderly in any capacity is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and not be bothered by frequent change in tasks.
- Respect for maintaining confidentiality.
