Position Summary:
We are looking for a mid-senior level .NET Backend Engineer with strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of integration patterns. The ideal candidate will have experience developing RESTful APIs, working with message queues, and building backend systems in .NET Core/C#. Experience with Azure services and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable, or the candidate must be open to learning them quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services and system integrations using .NET Core/C#
- Design and implement REST APIs and third-party system integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting
- Ensure performance, security, and maintainability of backend systems
- Continuously improve development processes and system architecture
Required Qualifications:
- 6 years of software development experience in .NET (C#, , .NET Core)
- Strong SQL skills (complex queries, optimization, relational database design)
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration tools (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, EventHub)
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and Agile development tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to learn Azure cloud services and CI/CD practices (Azure DevOps, App Services, Functions, etc.)
Preferred/Bonus Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines)
- Hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Durable Functions
- Experience with BizTalk or similar integration platforms
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and ETL patterns
