What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nanny/House Manager position at MAHLER PRIVATE STAFFING?
A lovely and busy family in Wilmette, IL is seeking an experienced Nanny / House Manager. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced individual to come in and take the reins in managing a large / fine home with school-aged children. This position includes house management for the first portion of the day and childcare after school lets out.
The responsibilities for this role include :
- Managing household projects and renovations
- Providing all-encompassing childcare when the children are not in school
- Maintaining files and creating a household manual
- Driving children as needed and assisting with homework
- Coordinating and overseeing vendors and family calendar management
- Occasional travel with the family
Candidates must be willing to take initiative in their work, be highly organized, and possess high-level administrative skills.

Schedule & Compensation :
The general schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 9 : 00am until 6 : 00pm, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed. The compensation for this position is $40-$50 per hour based on experience. Paid time off and standard paid holidays are offered as well as health benefits.
