RESPONSIBILITIES: SMCC is seeking adjunct clinical nursing faculty (approximately 16 hours/week per semester) for the Brunswick and South Portland campuses. Responsibilities include the supervision/instruction of associate degree nursing students in hospital medical/surgical and/or skilled nursing settings. Adjunct faculty are responsible for assigning patients who meet the educational and clinical experience requirements. Clinical faculty plan pre- and post-conferences and provide regular feedback to students for performance improvement and review. Final clinical evaluations are the responsibility of the clinical faculty.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSN (Master’s degree in Nursing preferred)
- Current Maine RN licensure
- Recent Acute Care and/or Skilled Nursing Care Experience
