Position Summary: We are seeking a customer service-oriented, self-motivated individual for our Scarborough, ME showroom. This individual will provide exceptional customer service, in-person and on the phone, ensuring our customers receive the warm, friendly, and informative experience Mainely Tubs is known for. In addition, this individual will ensure that the showroom is kept/maintained to company visual standards.
Primary job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Welcoming and engaging with customers as they enter the showroom
- Assessing customers’ needs and suggesting solutions to their problems; answering incoming customer calls
- Working with cash registers and processing payments
- Recommending the best products to customers; using upselling techniques to increase store sales
- Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing
- Supporting our Service team by looking up/pulling parts for customers; forwarding any phone messages pertaining to Service ideally by 4:00pm to ensure that calls are returned in timely manner
- Participating in weekly Counter team meetings
- Supporting the Asst. Showroom Manager with various administrative duties
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements

- Ability to work weekends and work extended hours as needed
Weekly schedule: 40 hours/Sunday through Thursday
