Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Warehouse Professional located in Bolingbrook, IL. The role involves handling the physical and logistical operations of a warehouse, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Responsibilities also include inventory management, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring an organized, clean working environment. You will work collaboratively with team members to meet customer demands and uphold Mainfreight's standards of excellence in logistics and service.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in inventory management, stock control, and warehouse operations
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment procedures
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong teamwork, collaboration skills, and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Effective communication abilities and physical stamina to handle manual tasks
- Basic computer and system operation skills are preferred
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
