We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team and drive business growth.

Job Summary:
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and representing MJ Daniels Trucking & Metal Fabrication at industry events. The ideal candidate will have a "hunter mentality," a deep understanding of our services, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company’s client base.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue goals.
  • Actively network at industry events to identify prospects and establish new connections.
• Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and prospects.
  • Provide detailed answers to customer inquiries regarding our laser cutting, wire forming, tube cutting, and brake press bending services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of all MJ Daniels’ services.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to customers.
• Independence & Collaboration:
  • Work independently to manage your schedule and achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the home office team in Johnstown, PA to ensure alignment on goals and client needs.
• Travel & Reporting:
  • Travel extensively within the Northeastern U.S., with territory extending as far west as Chicago, IL, and as far east as Philadelphia, PA.
  • Report to the home office in Johnstown, PA approximately 3-4 times per year.

Qualifications:

• Successful candidate MUST have proven sales experience in metal fabrication and/or the steel industry.
• Strong knowledge of laser cutting, plate, tube, wire forming, and brake press bending.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Reside in the Northeastern U.S. with access to major transportation hubs.
