This role requires strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), established cleaning procedures, and quality standards to ensure compliance with FDA regulations. The GMP Cleaner plays a critical role in maintaining sanitary conditions necessary for the manufacturing of biopharmaceutical products.The ideal candidate will consistently follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintain accurate documentation, and demonstrate professionalism while working in controlled GMP areas.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform cleaning and sanitization activities in GMP-controlled spaces in accordance with SOPsExecute sanitization using ceiling mops, wall mops, floor mops, and approved wipersEnsure proper disinfectant usage and rotation for all cleaning assignmentsComplete required GMP documentation accurately and in a timely mannerDispose of waste from GMP manufacturing areas dailyOrganize and maintain cleaning and sanitization supply areasParticipate in required training related to disinfectants, equipment, and GMP proceduresRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentPrevious experience cleaning in a biopharmaceutical GMP environment or hospital environmentProficiency in reading, writing, and speaking EnglishBasic computer skillsStrong attention to detailReliable attendance recordAbility to follow written and verbal work instructionsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExperience building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholdersCustomer service experienceKnowledge of workplace safety rules and company policiesPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentNo makeup, nail polish, or jewelry permitted in GMP process areasAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsFrequent pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, and climbingAbility to lift up to 50 poundsContinuous mental and visual attention to tasksMajority of the shift spent fully gowned, including head covering, face mask, gloves, plant shoes, and eye/face protectionWork includes ancillary support spaces adjacent to GMP-controlled areas to ensure cleanliness
