Summary: Retail Parlor Store Manager
.
The Retail Parlor Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the retail shop, ensuring proper staffing of all shifts, handling of product and shop operations are handled in accordance with Malley’s policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time/Salary Non-Exempt * Flexible work Schedules

Pay: Starting at $20.00
.
Hours: 35– 40 hours a week (more during busy season)
.

Job Requirements:
.
  • Minimum 2 years retail management experience
  • .
  • Physical ability to carry out the essential functions of the job, including packing candy, stocking shelves, ringing sales, standing, or walking the entire shift and frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • .
  • Proven ability in developing, motivating, training and coaching employees.
  • .
  • Proven ability to grow the business by seeking sales opportunities and developing a sales-driven team.
  • .
  • Ability to work any shift including morning, evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal holidays. The store manager is required to work during peak times.
  • .
  • Arrange and display store merchandising. Stays up to date on all merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information. Discounts purchases.
  • .
  • Ensuring that sales floor is fully stocked and presentable for customers.
  • .
  • Ordering and counting inventory
  • .
  • Make daily bank deposits, verify accountability of all financial transactions including sales and transfer of merchandise to and from stores.

  • Develop and maintain labor & expense budgets.

  • Address and resolve customer complaints and issues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Continually develop sales abilities and product knowledge.
  • .
  • Analyzing what drives sales in your retail store location
  • .
  • The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. He or she must be a fast learner who tries to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.
  • .
  • Experience with POS and cash handling experience.
  • .
  • Restaurant/Food Experience
  • .
  • Ability to make sound decisions and manage several processes in a fast-paced environment.

  • Retail/customer service experience
  • .
  • Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
  • .
  • Ability to understand and apply management principles concerning budgeting, personnel costs, and expenses.
  • .
  • Ability to evaluate and drive performance of self and others.
  • .
  • Good communication and people skills
  • .
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office package experience.

Physical Requirements/ADA:

  • Ability to use all store equipment registers and PC is required.
  • .
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store.

  • Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
  • .
  • Ability to occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 pounds.
  • .
  • Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks/tables, ladders, and other assigned supplies.

  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
