The success Manatts, Inc., enjoys today in the construction industry started 75 years ago. Back then, it was one man, one truck, and now our team of employees numbers more than 700 strong. We have dozens of ready-mix and asphalt production facilities around the state of Iowa. Our massive fleet of dump and ready-mix trucks serves thousands of job sites every year. In addition, our concrete and asphalt paving divisions, along with our various other crews, complete hundreds of projects every season.
Manatt's has openings for Diesel mechanics at our Ankeny location.
At Manatt's we seek highly motivated persons of high character to be part of our team of skilled professionals to maintain and repair our fleet of owned equipment.

Responsibilities of the position are:
Perform work duties safely without creating potential risk to others.
Ability to work in a highly rewarding team environment.
Willingness to continually learn new skills and techniques to improve skill set and proficiency.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and thorough high-quality inspections on a wide range of equipment.
Preform troubleshooting and diagnostics of issues found on inspections in a timely manner.
Provide accurate consultation on repair solutions.
Provide high quality mechanical repairs in a timely manner.
Utilize OEM diagnostic software to assist with proper repair completion on equipment and heavy trucks.
Consistently complete accurate work orders electronically.
Qualifications:
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Class A or B CDL Preferred- Willing to help obtain after hired.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Must have own basic hand tools.
Must have acceptable driving record.
Strong communication skills, analytical and basic computer skills required.
Availability to work overtime on an as needed basis.
