What are the responsibilities and job description for the Noon Monitor position at Manchester School?
Applicants must be available from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday to cover lunch and recess periods for a total of approximately 12.5 hours per week during the school year. There are no benefits with this position.
This is a non-inclusive listing of the duties and responsibilities of this position:
1. Supervise students at playtime and lunchtime, maintaining a harmonious atmosphere by fostering good habits and manners.
2. Assist cafeteria workers with taking lunch charges and cleaning up, and supervising lunch dismissal and lunchroom trash disposal.
3. Supervise group activities when appropriate.
4. Direct movement of groups to and from the playground and to buses when appropriate.
