Paint Unloader - 1st shift.

I. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Unloads parts from skids and crates. Loads parts on hangers to prepare for painting. Packages finished parts per specifications, while providing quality checks on parts before going through final quality check.

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Loads parts onto paint line.
• Plugs parts prior to painting when required.
• Unloads finished parts from paint line.
• Performs visual quality check of finished part to verify acceptable coverage levels.
• Completes touch-up of parts coming off paint line as required.
• May be required to operate spray booth equipment with proper training and safety requirements in place.
• Counts finished goods.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment for work being performed and as directed by company policy.
• Maintain a safe work environment through good housekeeping practices.
• All other duties as assigned.

III. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• High School or GED required.
• Ability to successfully complete on-the-job training.
• Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry 25 pounds frequently.
• Physical ability to work above shoulder level constantly.
• Physical ability to withstand dramatic swings in environmental temperatures and conditions.
• Physical ability to do work requiring continuous standing, and frequent stooping and bending.
• Sufficient visual acuity to read instructions, and visually inspect parts produced.

IV. SCHEDULE:

• 7:00am - 3:30pm
