Description
*Mandan Park District operates 2 public golf facilities:
-Prairie West Golf Club: 18 holes & practice facility
-Mandan Municipal GC: 9 holes
Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 hour days starting at sunrise. (Fall hours typically 6:30 am – 3:00 pm)
- Weekends on a rotating basis (every 3rd weekend). (Mornings only)
- May be required to work holidays
- Schedule may change based on tournaments & important events *Flexible Scheduling: Full day, half day, and weekend only scheduling may be possible. Will work around class schedules, etc.
Work Duration: Dependent on weather. Seasonal employees typically work from Mid-Late April until the end of October, possibly longer weather permitting.
Duties: Under the supervision of the Golf Superintendent or designated supervisor complete assigned tasks related to care and maintenance of the Mandan Park District golf courses and related facilities. Duties include, but are not limited to, mowing, trimming, bunker maintenance, course set up, garbage removal, irrigation repair, tree care, fertilization, equipment maintenance, construction projects, and general course/facility upkeep.
Salary: Depends on Experience
Benefits: Seasonal employees will be entitled to free play & practice facility use at PWGC & MMGC for duration of seasonal employment. Individual only, excludes family members.
Dress Code: Mandan Park District shirts will be provided. Safety gear such as ear plugs, safety glasses, etc… provided. All other clothing is the employee’s responsibility. Recommended to wear pants, protective boots, etc.
