Manea’s Meats is a specialty, family-owned and operated meat market in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. We pride ourselves in our unique selections of beef, chicken, and pork. All sausages, bacon, meat sticks, and more are made in house!
Full-time Day Shift 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm Monday - Friday, End times and hours vary based on production needs.
This is full-time role and qualifies for our full benefits package, including a lunch provided every shift.
Starting pay range for this position is $16 - $20, based of experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Starts assembly and production machinery at the beginning of shift.
- Monitor equipment to ensure that products are being made properly.
- Makes sure that workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials.
- Addresses problems with production equipment and machinery and fixes them as needed.
- Cleans equipment.
- Assembles products by hand.
- Observes and removes faulty products from production line and notifies supervisor.
- Inspects assembled products to ensure that are up to quality standards.
- Affixes labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products.
- Package completed products then prepares them for shipment.
- Keeps facility floor clean.
- Unloads, organizes, and stocks shipments.
- Adheres to all safety guidelines dictating the production and handling of materials in the facility.
- Ensure that all production deadlines are met.
- Reports issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
- Individual should have ability to maintain concentration while performing tasks.
- Individual should have a good safety and attendance record. Regular attendance at work and punctuality are essential job functions.
- Demonstrated commitment to the GMP program requirements.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Safety training.
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the use of all parts of the body. This includes activities such as (but not limited to) walking, lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and turning. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, elbows, hands, and fingers are required. It requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and occasionally up to 60 lbs. Lastly, this position requires the ability to stand for the entirety of the shift (minus break/rest periods). This position is subject to temperatures ranging from 30 degrees to 50 degrees constantly. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Other environmental factors may apply.
