Job Summary:
The Restaurant Manager will oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Hires and trains restaurant staff, coaches and corrects as necessary.
- Supervises and directs staff activity during operating hours.
- Markets and promotes the restaurant.
- Ensures quality guest experiences and satisfaction.
- Grows sales and profits through operational improvements and marketing.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience through table visits and other guest interactions.
- Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
- Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
- Develops and maintains email and social media programs to positively promote the restaurant.
- Collaborates with other managers on menus and other promotions.
- Conducts daily pre-shift meetings.
- Works with other managers to hit sales, food cost, and labor cost targets.
- Conducts daily inspection of the restaurant, equipment, and premises to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the facility for guests and staff.
- Maintains POS for accuracy, efficiency, and optimal performance.
- Executes special projects as determined by ownership.
- Ensures cash and inventory controls; performs daily sales reconciliation/reporting.
- Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by ownership.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

- Excellent time management skills.
- Familiarity with proper food handling, safety, and other industry standards.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Email Applications, Social Media.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic internet functioning.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous restaurant experience required.
- Successful completion of management training and management experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of standing/being on feet.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
- Ability to work well with people.
