About the Associate for Strategic Communications
Manhattan Strategies is seeking an Associate for Strategic Communications. This is a full-time, on-site role. The best-fit candidate is a highly motivated public relations and social media strategist, who is skilled in assisting on multiple projects at one time while working with a fast-paced team of designers and communicators. Your ability to collaborate on projects and apply a unique perspective results in a consistent and unparalleled quality outcome.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Assist in drafting press releases, blog posts, social media content, and email campaigns.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain media lists, monitor press coverage, draft media briefs, and assist with outreach to journalists and influencers.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and target audiences to inform campaigns and strategies.
- Project Support: Collaborate with team members on marketing and communication projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Social Media Management: Schedule posts, engage with audiences, and track performance across various platforms.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track campaign performance and provide regular updates and insights using analytics tools.
- Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings and presentations to gain experience and provide support as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience and a strong understanding of digital communications
- Must demonstrate excellent writing abilities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Communications, Literature, Marketing or related discipline
- Previous experience in executive communications a plus
Benefits & Compensation:
- Base salary range is $50,000 to $62,000 per year plus bonus
