Manhattanville Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is a 200-bed skilled nursing facility located in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. We invite you to experience the ideal, home-like environment where quality of life for our residents and staff is at the heart of all we do!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients as assigned
- Administer and record medications and treatments
- Assist physicians and others with diagnostic procedures and treatments
- Reinforce health care instructions to patients and their families
- Collaborate with team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care
- Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
- Observe and report patients' vital signs, symptoms, and general condition
- Maintain accurate patient charts and document responses to nursing care
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
- Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of the unit as assigned
