CPS Ongoing Social Wkr

Manitowoc County Human Services Dept. is seeking a Child Protective Services Worker to join their Ongoing Services team.  This position provides comprehensive case management services directed at ensuring the safety of the children involved.

This position provides comprehensive case management services to assigned caseload and:

• Interviews family members and other persons associated with the family, conducting investigations, creating safety plans.
•  Intervenes when compliance with the plan is not occurring or if new events occur that threaten the safety of the children.   
• Assists the family in securing resources necessary to maintain compliance with the safety plan.
• Prepares paperwork necessary for court appearances, including protective placement orders and termination of parental rights.
