OVERVIEW: Manuel Diaz Law Firm, PC. is seeking a dynamic, self-starting individual with vision, initiative, and a demonstrated commitment to serve as an IT Help Desk/ Field Tech.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the Chief Legal Officer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The principal duties of the IT Help Desk/ Field Tech will be to provide support in all aspects of IT support Firm Wide. Other responsibilities include:
- Maintain familiarity and working relationships with firmwide functional teams (server, storage, email, and security teams)
- Assist the Regional Technology Director (RTD) in educating end users about desktop policies and in enforcement
- Assist RTD to establish and maintain reserve supply of computer inventory to cover new hires and temporary replacements of desktops and laptops.
- Triage service desk request to ensure a timely resolution.
- Ensure that all critical incidents are responded to immediately during business hours and reasonably after hours.
- Server virtualization and administration assistance.
- VIOP and mobile device support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 cloud services, and Salesforce.
- Experience in server support and occasional off hours maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts and desktop troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Desktop Support including configuration and support of Outlook Email client in a corporate environment Microsoft Windows, DHCP - DNS, Firewall, LAN - Local Area Network, VPN - Virtual Private Network, Wi-Fi, Windows NT, PC Desktop - Workstation, PC Hardware, PC Skills, WPAN - Wireless Personal Area Network, Accounts Provisioning, Active Directory, Information - Network Security, System Administration, Virus Protection, Workflow Processes.
- Ability to have a flexible work schedule.
- Capable of handling a busy, diverse workload with minimal supervision.
- Possess a strong work ethic and a sense of accountability.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Excellent attendance record.
SALARY: Based on applicant’s years of relevant experience.
