Job Description
The Truck Driver position will use varying skills to support projects requiring the operation of tractor trailers and dump trucks. This position will have seasonal variation depending on the weather and routes to be completed. The Truck Driver will work to achieve goals specific to their department as needed.

Requirements:
Valid CDL-A license and medical card
Ability to drive an 18-speed standard transmission truck
Ability to display flexibility to meet the operational demands of the department activities required.
Ability to adhere to and model MSI values required.
Ability to interact with co-workers and members of the public in a courteous and professional manner required.
Ability to adhere to and comply with MSI attendance polices required.
Ability to safely maneuver trucks from/to loading and unloading stations
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Detail oriented
Customer Service Experience Preferred
Ability to work under pressure
Self-motivated and self-directed
Ability to work with staff in solving problems
Effectively prioritize and multi-task
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
Ability to create, implement and work within current systems
Essential Job Functions:
Drive tractor trailer following all DOT regulations to transport materials to/from manufacturing facility and distributions centers
Document truck log, rest periods, mileage and retain fuel/toll receipts
Report any equipment defects, safety concerns and accidents immediately
Plan optimal routes to meet scheduled deliveries
Safely and securely fasten all loads to prevent shifting or damage to products
Assist as back-up forklift operator/warehouse support when assigned
Inspect vehicles and equipment in dispatch ready condition and schedule preventative maintenance
Support special projects when assigned
Schedule and maintain Outlook calendar to communicate trucking schedule
