Manville First Aid & Rescue Squad serves a 2.5 square mile area located in within Somerset County NJ. Our organization is a community based EMS agency that is in close proximity to local hospitals. Our crews are based out of our station and are not street posted. We offer monthly training opportunities that include NJOEMS approved CEU'S. Our organization preforms both BLS and Technical Rescue to the Borough of Manville.

We are currently seeking an EMT to join our elite team of EMT's . The successful candidate will possess the skills and attitude necessary to provide support to both our staff and the community by responding to medical emergencies with a strong sense of urgency. The ideal EMT will have prior experience responding to a wide range of medical issues including traumas, fire ground scenes, technical rescues, scenes of violence, and medical emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency situations by helping with triage and treatment of patients.
- Take vital signs.
- Administer medications, and other treatments.
- Recognize and intervene in life threatening emergencies.
- Transport patients to hospitals.
- Administer first aid and CPR.
- Complete the E-PCR and document appropriately.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
