PAYRANGE: $54,000 - $112,164 Annual Salary
CALENDAR: 190 Days

SCHOOL DESIGN OVERVIEW:
The Performing Arts School on Broadway prepares students to create their future by pairing rigorous academics with performing arts through an educational approach rooted in innovation, imagination, and intention. Students will have opportunities to master geometry through construction and set design, bring history to life on stage, study science through sound and music, and push their creativity through technical art.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Colorado teaching license with a Middle School or Secondary (7-12) Math endorsement
- Additional endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education preferred. *
- Or willingness to pursue endorsement or equivalent coursework.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- This position will teach middle school Math and Algebra.
- Willingness to actively participate in professional development and teacher leadership based on a national replication design ie, Coalition of Essential Schools, Expeditionary Learning, International Baccalaureate, University Partnership, Early College.
- Commitments and competencies in using a variety of instructional deliveries are including, but limited to, cooperative learning, and interdisciplinary instructional thematic units.
- Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to a standards-based system of designing and delivering instruction and assessment.
- Will demonstrate a willingness to collaborate, solve problems.
- Designs instructional intervention that is clearly focused on the standards and assessments established by the District and the State.
- Provides expanded opportunities and support for learner success.
- Demonstrates and models’ high expectations for all students to succeed.
- Aligns all instruction with and designs instructional interventions with State and local standards and assessments.
- Establishes and maintains strong classroom management.
- Utilizes a variety of teaching styles to accommodate student learning needs.
- Multiple endorsements and second language applicants preferred.
