What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Maplewood Rehab and Nursing?
The schedule for this job would be Monday through Friday 4pm - 7pm.
Job purpose:
• The Receptionist is responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support to ensure that municipal services are provided in an effective and efficient manner.
Duties and responsibilities:

Qualifications:
• A high school diploma, knowledge of how to answer phone professionally and other office training is preferred.
Working conditions:
• The office may be a busy facility. The Receptionist may have to manage several projects at one time and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of managers, residents, visitors and contractors. The Receptionist may find the environment to be busy, noisy and will need excellent organizational and time and stress management skills to complete the required tasks.
Specific Requirements:
• Answer all incoming calls and handle caller’s inquiries
• Able to project a professional image (appropriate work attire)
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel
• Direct and relay telephone messages and fax messages
• Direct visitors to the appropriate resident or staff member
• Resident Smoke Breaks
• Assist in the dining room as needed
• Perform clerical duties
Physical requirements:
• The Receptionist will have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
The Receptionist may also have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
Salary : $17 - $23
