This is an in-person role located in Westport, CT supporting surrounding community's tri-state area.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with external IT, phone system, MFP vendors, and ISP/SIP service providers on various IT-related tasks, including connectivity, migrations, upgrades, and system setups.
- Follow emergency procedures and adhere to safety protocols.
- Provide exemplary customer service, whether in person or remotely.
- Resolve technical issues, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
- Configure and deploy various user devices such as smartphones, laptops, desktops, IoT devices, routers, switches, wireless access points, and printers.
- Handle software installations, updates, hardware setup, password resets, file backups, and system/application configurations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of software and hardware inventory.
- Track and manage support tickets.
- Adhere to all IT support guidelines, processes, and procedures
- Uphold the IT code of ethics
- Conduct onboarding for new hires, offering guidance on email and laptop usage.
- Manage IT asset inventory and oversee asset retrieval during offboarding.
- Evaluate and test new software and technology solutions.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in end-user computer support, including desktop and laptop configuration and software maintenance.
- A passion for assisting others by sharing technology knowledge.
- A friendly and polite demeanor.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills (both verbal and written) in English.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong critical thinking skills.
- Experience with Windows 10 and Mac OS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 support.
- Remote desktop support experience.
- Familiarity with patch management.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange administration.
- Troubleshooting of printers and peripheral devices.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- A certification or equivalent is a plus.
