We are seeking a 5 year experienced, highly motivated, compassionate, and integrous Lead Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team with a strong understanding on the personal injury litigation process. In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex personal injury cases from inception through trial, ensuring meticulous case management and seamless coordination among your attorney, clients, and external parties. Your expertise will drive efficiency in litigation processes, support strategic case development, and uphold the highest standards of legal accuracy and professionalism. - Excellent writing skills for drafting pleadings, discovery documents, reports, and correspondence with attention to detail.
- Coordinate depositions, mediation, scheduling hearings in state and federal courts, and trials, including calendaring deadlines and court appearances.
- Assist in trial preparation and the assembly of trial binders and exhibits.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple cases.
- Extensive knowledge of legal research tools such as LexisNexis;
- Proficiency in legal case management software such as CASEpeer
- Organize, review, and summarize medical records
- Experience writing demand letters
- Consistent communication with clients, medical providers, and expert witnesses
- STRONG organizational skills with the ability to handle large volumes of documentation while maintaining accuracy.
- Outstanding phone etiquette combined with empathetic demeanor; ability to work collaboratively within a team environment focused on litigation excellence.
