Marathon Coach Inc. is looking for a full time, Interior Design Assisant for our Coburg location. SUMMARY
Provides administrative and clerical support and assistance to the Interior Designers and the Vice President, Interior Design. Performs numerous functions to maintain the organization and efficiency of the Interior Design area.
-Maintaining appropriate levels of work and office supplies, checking in fabrics that arrive in upholstery, arranging samples fabrics, leathers, floor coverings, and wall coverings in showroom.
-Returning memo samples, run errands, write or process customer and vendor correspondence and maintain files on all correspondence received, process all mailings including UPS and FED EX materials and ensure proper and timely posting.
-Updating information in the materials chart and vendor table, inputting spec information into production schedule and coach specifications, filing vendor information and pricing, shipping and receiving items such as color boards and samples or fabrics to vendors and providing assistance and/or information to production personnel in the absence of interior designers.
-Performs various interior design administrative support duties including cutting swatches and other samples and constructing presentation-quality color boards, assisting in coach photo sessions, researching new vendors or products, ordering samples, looking for materials or parts, filing materials in files by designer.
-Providing assistance in ordering items that are needed immediately due to damage, inputting data to the production schedule regarding awning colors, laminate numbers, and accent trim colors, take pictures to be shipped to customers, cut, label, and file fabrics on PO's, and provides any research assistance to Marathon east.
