Production Worker
Summary
This position is responsible for moving, processing, and separating recyclable materials in a safe efficient manner.
Essential Functions

- Move materials as needed using forklifts, skid steers, tractors, etc.
- Inspect equipment and document any findings for forklifts, skid steers, trailers, etc.
- Communicate any safety concerns and production issues to supervisor
- Process, sort and separate recyclable material
- Keep materials organized and moving toward the baler efficiently
- Remove and discard trash from around the facility
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

Work Environment
This role requires working in the elements, in the plant yard, exposed to dust and debris. Frequently operates forklifts, and skid steers.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is frequently required to climb; balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience driving and backing 53’ trailers
