Job Description:

As an Autonomy Engineer at Maren-go Solutions Corporation, you will be the accountable owner of one or more autonomous behavior clusters within our autonomy system. You will orchestrate complex projects cross-functionally with autonomy software engineering, product, metrics, safety, and user research inputs. This role is critical for successfully launching our autonomous airfield operating system.


Responsibilities:


  • Define readiness criteria and goals for a driving behavior cluster.
  • Break down driving behavior clusters into sub-clusters and prioritize them based on upcoming milestones.
  • Define metrics to measure the readiness of driving behavior clusters.
  • Collaborate with software and metrics engineering teams to align on technical solutions and priorities.
  • Serve as the key interface to other teams and organizations within Maren-go to drive two-way collaboration and solve product problems with minimal churn to the engineering teams.
  • Develop driving behavior cluster roadmaps that anticipate and address critical business needs before they become critical gaps.


Qualifications:


  • 2 years of experience in technical product management, ideally in the field of robotics or software.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal partners and users to solve complex cross-functional problems and use influence to generate great outcomes.
  • Established skills in distilling ambiguous problem spaces into compelling product visions.
  • Technical background (degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience).


Bonus Qualifications:


5 years of technical experience in a relevant field.

Experience developing robotics products.

Experience developing autonomous vehicle software.

Experience integrating sensors into autonomous systems.
